Symec’s annual Technology Day at Farleigh House was a real success. We had a great time hosting everyone but for those who couldn’t make it, we thought we’d give you some reasons to come next time:
Get to know Symec
Our events provide a great opportunity for customers to meet our team. We love running these events and everyone is on hand on the day: Technical Services, Sales, Print, Repairs – all ready to give you the information you might need.
Opportunities to meet our vendors and partners
Our events are all about providing you with opportunities to meet our partners and vendors. There were insightful talks from our vendors SOTI, Cisco, Honeywell and Netmotion. Samsung and Scandit were showcasing their products, too. It provided attendees with a good understanding of Symec’s relationship with our partners and vendors and the products we can offer you.
The latest technology
Not only did we have MIsymec, Device Angel and OptiMIse demos, but Cisco Meraki were demonstrating their effective infrastructure solutions. Samsung had a variety of their latest devices like the Note 8 and their VR headset. SOTI was exhibiting SOTI Snap, an easy-to-use app builder. There were a wide range of other devices, too.
Official launch of MIsymec
How could we forget MIsymec? This year we chose a “connected business” theme and we decided to launch our own product to celebrate it. A centralised management platform for all elements of your connected business, MIsymec increases uptime and efficiency. It enables you to look after all elements of your mission critical operations in one place.
The grounds of Farleigh House are reason alone to come to Symec’s Technology Day. It’s now used as Bath Rugby’s training ground and headquarters. Attendees were given a tour of the grounds and facilities. The agenda also included a talk by Jameson Mola, Bath’s First Team Strength and Conditioning Coach, on data and technology in the sport.
