NEXT DAY SHIPMENT WITH STAGING

Symec stage a buffer stock unit which is kept at Symec’s base. The replacement unit is sent via a courier to the customer so that it arrives next working day. The faulty unit is shipped back to Symec by the customer. Symec repair and return the unit to buffer stock.

NEXT DAY NON-TECH SWAP

Symec stage a buffer stock unit which is kept at Symec’s base. The replacement unit is sent via a courier to the customer so that it arrives next working day. The faulty unit is collected at the point the replacement unit is delivered by the courier. Symec repair and return the unit to buffer stock.

TECHNICAL COURIER SWAP

Symec stage a buffer stock unit which is kept at Symec’s base. The replacement unit is sent via a technical courier to the customer so that it arrives next working day. The faulty unit is collected at the point the replacement unit is delivered by the courier who will also carry out SIM swaps and other technical associated services such as last mile staging. Symec repair and return the unit to buffer stock.

BUFFER THE BUFFER

Customer holds pre-staged buffer stock around the country which is kept at strategic locations. The user goes to the strategic location and carries out a same day swap. The user takes a replacement unit from the strategic location and leaves the faulty unit at the location. The faulty unit is swapped in the strategic location as per the Next Day Non-Tech Swap logistics service, the replacement unit is returned to the pre-staged buffer stock at the strategic location and the faulty unit is repaired and returned to the buffer stock which is kept at Symec’s base.

SAME DAY TECHNICAL COURIER SWAP

Symec have pre-staged buffer stock located around the country at strategic FSLs. The replacement unit is sent via a technical courier to the customer so that it arrives within the specific SLA agreed at the start of the contact – SLAs can vary from 1 hour to 8 hours. The faulty unit is collected at the point the replacement unit is delivered by the courier who will also carry out SIM swaps, SD card swaps and other technical associated services such as last mile staging, Symec repair and return the unit to buffer stock.

PICK UP DROP OFF

Symec have Forward Stock Locations (FSL) throughout the country with pre-staged buffer stock in situ. User goes to the FSL and carries out a same day swap (FSL boxes are secured with a code. Either Symec or a helpdesk supply the code). User takes the device from the FSL and via a technical courier so that it arrives next day. The faulty unit is returned to Symec, repaired and returned to the buffer stock by courier.
