Reports generated can be saved as ‘My Own Report’
Each report type is configured similarly using Outline, Filters and Add On’s.
Outline
Group By
Use the group by feature, so group your a data using any of the data points available for the chosen report.
Note: If you would like your report to be used on the configurable reports dashboard you will need to add a “Group By” so the system knows how to present the data, this will be the ‘Y-Axis of the report.

Your report will then be displayed in groups, in this example we have used $type

As default, the grouped items will be displayed collapsed. To expand these, click on the arrow.
Columns
Select the columns you would like to be included in your report.

The data points you have selected will be displayed as columns on your report.

Sort By
Order by allows you to organise your data by the data point selected.

Filters
Dates
If you would like to see data from only a specific date range you can choose from either a defined range or last number of days.
The last number of days is useful for scheduled reports to show a data set over the previous period, for example open tickets from the last 30 days.

Select a filter that contains a date field. In this example, last agent connect time.

Define the true / false argument.
‘True” is contained within the date range
“False” is not contained within the date range

Filtration
You can add as many filtration options as you like.
For string filtration, we have added the ability for partial match and exact match. This will allow you to easily find a data point if you dont know the complete string, and example might be asset ID or device name.
For number results, we have also added the ability to search “From <> to”. For example, I might be interested in which of my devices are not fully charged overnight I could run a report each day to show me these devices.

Addons
If you have added “Group By” you will be able to select a chart.
For some report types where device location is present you will also be able to add a map.

Running Reports
Once you have configured your report, click “Run” to see your data.
Note: If you add / remove outlines / filtrations, you will need to re-run the report to see the revised data.
